Villa El Horizonte is situated in the Campo Mijas area overlooking the resort of Fuengirola. It is a quiet location yet is just 20 minutes from Malaga airport and only 5 minutes by car from the resort and main coast road for easy access to all the amenities of the Costa Del Sol. The villa sleeps 10 in five bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed and an ensuite full bathroom, bedroom 2 has a kingsize bed and is next to the main bathroom, bedrooms 3 & 4 each have double beds and their own ensuite shower rooms with toilet.bidet & sink, bedroom 5 has a double bed and sink,and shares the main bathroom. At extra charge an 11th and 12th person can sleep on the sofa/daybeds in the lounge.Towels & linen are supplied for all guests. There is a large comfortable lounge with stunning views to the Mediterranean, and dining area for 10 and also a bar area (please stock yourself!). From the dining area there are mountain views and a raised outside terrace from where the evening sunset can be watched. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave/grill, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The villa is also equipped with a washing machine, satellite TV, video recorder, DVD player and stereo system. Outside the villa has its own pool surrounded by a large terrace area with sun loungers, a large pergola with tables and chairs for alfresco dining, and a gas BBQ and sink. There is also an outside shower with hot and cold water. The pool area is largely unoverlooked and has spectacular views over the resort to the Mediterranean and coast.There is also a community pool set in gardens with table tennis, overlooked by a very pleasant restaurant/bar. The villa is ideally situated for the many golf courses (& tennis) on the Costa and is also an ideal base for touring. Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Jerez, Gibraltar, Nerja and even Morocco can all be done as day trips from the villa. Mijas, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Cabo Pino and the Costa Del Sol Horse Racing Course are all a short drive away. There are several restaurants less than 10 minutes walk from the villa and also a supermarket and pharmacy. A local minibus service operates, stopping 25 metres from the villa and delivering you to the centre of Mijas or Fuengirola. For the energetic the town centre and beaches are about a 30 minute walk from the villa. The villa has central heating for winter months. |

TERMS & CONDITIONS To Book: Please confirm dates by telephone or e-mail. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. Payment can be made by personal cheque drawn on a UK Bank. Please make cheque payable to C.Cape and mail by normal post to: C.Cape, Buzon 572, Urb. Campo Mijas, Mijas-Costa, 29651, Malaga, Spain. Payment can also be made by Western Union, by PayPal, by International Money Order or by bank transfer.Payment details for your chioce of payment method will be given by return e-mail or telephone call. Once confirmed your dates are closed to other bookings for 10 days pending receipt of deposit. The Balance together with a £250 (375Euro) deposit against damage is due 6 weeks prior to arrival date. The damage deposit (less cost of any damage) will be refunded in cash on departure. (We do not charge for the accidental breakage of the ODD glass or plate). Cancellation Policy Deposits are refundable only if cancellation is made 90 days prior to arrival. Once paid the balance is refundable only if we manage to re-let your booked dates. Failure to pay the balance when due may result in the cancellation of your booking. Arrival & Departure Times Please vacate the villa by 11am on the day of your departure.(You may leave your luggage at the villa if your flights are later) Between bookings the villa is cleaned during 11am to 4.30pm. You may arrive before 4.30pm (but not before 11.00am), but the villa may be being cleaned around you. If you wish you may therefore leave your luggage at the villa and go into town or down to the local bar. During high season (July & Aug) bookings are Saturday to Saturday ONLY. Outside of high season bookings can be any days which suit you and we try to be as flexible as possible over arrival and departure times; please enquire. Insurance El Horizonte is a private villa let out when the owners are not using it. As such we do not have commercial insurance. You are advised to take full holiday insurance covering health, accidents,cancellation, flights accommodation and your personal belongings. While Campo Mijas is a very safe area, our household insurance does not cover your personal belongings. There is a large safe for guests' use. There is no charge for the safe however we do charge £50 for a lost safe key and £10 for a set of lost house/room keys. Safety The central heating and water heating boilers are outside the villa so there is no chance of carbon monoxide entering the building. There is a smoke alarm in the central hallway. A gas detector/alarm is in the kitchen to monitor the gas cooker. Maximum Numbers El Horizonte can accommodate 10 people in the 5 bedrooms and a further 2 (at extra cost) if the sofa/daybeds in the lounge are used. Parties of larger than 12 are not accepted and no more than a total of 12 people may stay overnight at the villa. WIFI. The WIFI connection shares a 1 megabyte ADSL line. 1 megabyte is the maximum available in this area. It can at times be slower. The WIFI facility is provided to renters as a benefit free of charge and does NOT form part of the contract to rent. If it is slow or not available no refund is due. Car Hire & Airport Transfers Transfers from Malaga airport are at your expense. The local taxis charge about 40? and carry a maximum of 4 passengers. We can arrange minibus transfer for 120? to 150?per minibus depending on time of year. Please book with us when you have your flight details. The local minibus service stops 25m from villa and the local supermarket will deliver shopping over 60? free of charge, but for those who want added freedom we can arrange good quality car hire at very competitive rates payable by Visa or Mastercard on collection of car at the airport. Please contact us for details. The villa is fully equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron & board, hair dryer,gas BBQ, bar fridge, colour TV (several UK satellite channels), video recorder,DVD player, music centre, fans in lounge and all bedrooms, and has central heating for winter months. Prices include electricity and gas for hot water, winter prices include electricity, gas for hot water and a maximum of 4 bottles of gas per week for the central heating. This is usually enough for one hour in the morning and several hours in the evening for one week. Extra bottles can be purchased at the official rate (currently 10.50E) if required. |
